MASSAGE THERAPY


Massage therapy is a branch of alternative medicine practiced for a long period of time.  Pressure is applied at specific parts of our body like fingers, thumb, back, elbow and feet. 
The person who  provides this therapy is called a Massage Therapist. 


TECHNIQUES OF MASSAGE:

The therapist uses various techniques like moves his hands in circles, from top to bottom, pressurizing the deep or muscles at the upper level, using essential oils, aroma, hot stones, etc.
The different types of massage are as follows:

2.       Swedish massage.

1.       HOT OIL MASSAGE

2.       SWEDISH MASSAGE

3.       SHIATSU MASSAGE

In this massage, the therapist applies pressure to the deep muscle areas and soft tissues of our body.  So his hand goes beyond the skin and underlying soft tissue.  The muscles and nerves are realigned.  The therapist opens and balances the fascia, thereby releasing the toxic products from our body.The physical problems like frozen neck, shoulder pain and back aches are resolved with the help of this wonderful massage technique.  The deep strokes are given slowly at the fingers, palms and elbows.  This procedure is characterized by slowly applying pressure in certain areas deeply.
5.       REFLEXOLOGY

6.       COUPLES MASSAGE
