Jeep Cherokee for sale

Jeep Cherokee is a car manufactured by American Motors at the Jeep division.   Since 1987 Chrysler does the marketing of this big car which weighs 1523 kg.  It is a great sport utility vehicle.  It is a source of inspiration for many car companies.  The XJ or Jeep Cherokee is a tough and reliable car. 

General Motors is proud of designers like Roy Lunn, Francois Castaing who redesigned the model.  Chrysler merged with AMC in 1987 and used computer aided design to improve the structure. 

From the 1990s the Jeep Cherokee is widely used by the government and police.  The new Cherokees have 190-hp High Output Engine with six cylinders.  A bigger model of Cherokee ZJ was introduced in 1993 by AMC.  The Cherokee models were on sale in United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan.  The new models of Cherokee have reduced noise, vibration and harshness.  So you can enjoy a pleasant jeep ride.

In 2002 a new model known as Jeep Liberty (KJ) was released in the market.  It was Wolfgang Bernhard who captured the market by creating a new model like Liberty.     

A lot of improvements were made in the engine, starting from 2.5 liter AMC 150, then 4.0 liter AMC 242, and now Turbo Diesel in 2001. 

Nowadays the new model Jeep 2500 is manufactured in the production house of Mercedes-Benz.  In China a model BJ2500 had 4 cylinders with 2.5 liter engine of AMC straight-4.  A 6 cylinder model is known as BJ4000 with engine of AMC Straight-6. 

A new model of Cherokee in US as Jeep Liberty will be marketed outside North America.  It will be sold as Jeep Cherokee (KK).  Different models of Jeep Cherokees are available nowadays like Wrangler, Wrangler Unlimited, Grand Cherokee, Compass, Patriot, etc.

The design is quite futuristic.  Mark Allen of Jeep designing department has made it look like 5 years ahead.  The Jeep is designed in such a way it is easily marketable.  The Cherokee has an amazing design.  It has an aerodynamic stylish look.  The headlights here are slightly angled slits. 

Mike Manley, CEO of Jeep, thinks that Cherokee has a bright future in the United States.  It is a true example of social climbing.  It is a fuel-saving car and it saves up to 45% fuel.  It consumes one gallon for every 31 miles.  The Cherokee can be parked easily with the efficient steering wheel.
