doTERRA Essential Oils

Essential oils are natural compounds with beautiful perfume.  You will find them in the seeds, barks, stems, roots, flowers and other sections of the plant.  The essential oils provide immunity to various diseases.  The skin absorbs essential oils easily.  They are devoid of fatty lipids.  doTERRA brought essential oils in the market in 2008.  The word ‘doTERRA’ means gift of the earth.  Initially the company launched 25 single oils and 10 oil blends.

The essential oil has to be sprayed at regular intervals.  After mixing it with pure water, ten drops of oil is put in a 1-2 ounce bottle.  Other oils can be used like olive oil, coconut oil or almond oil.  One ounce of carrier oil is mixed with 10 drops of essential oil. 

The essential oils of different varieties like lemon, lime or grapefruit can be added to a few drops with drinking water.  The water is then drunk. 

A natural gel for acne treatment can be prepared using essential oils.  The geranium oil is added with 10 drops of lavender.  In addition, 7 drops of lemongrass or tea tree oil are used.  The oil is added to the affected areas of the skin.  The user should avoid using around the eyes.
